The Birth of Mex-Tex
Yucatán raised, Mexican born Chef Jorge Guzmán coined the phrase "Mex-Tex" to describe Chilango's unique cuisine, featuring a Mexican-forward version of "Tex-Mex" that's totally unique to Chilango. Guzmán's distinguished career has earned him national recognition, including being named as a James Beard Award Finalist and featured in the New York Times.
